I just got word from my contact that the Microsoft Store in the South Coast Plaza will be celebrating their grand opening on Thursday, March 24th, 2011. This is great news since I recently scored a few gift cards from the recent promotion from the Microsoft Store by recycling a few old cell phones. If you have ilomilo for the Windows Phone 7, you’ll be happy to know that a FREE title update was released today and is now ready to download. This was a nice surprise and is always welcomed. The only bummer is, no new achievements to get and no word on a title update for the Xbox 360 version of ilomilo but still nice to see a FREE update now and again.

To get the update, the ilomilo development blog says the update will download automatically when the game is started but I and many others never received it this way. I was able to get it by heading to the Marketplace on the WP7 and search for ilomilo. After choosing ilomilo, it gave me the choice to update. Done!
So head on over to the Marketplace to grab the update or stick around a little longer and watched the trailer they provided for this here cubistic update.
