Microsoft Store to Open Soon in South Coast Plaza [UPDATE]

In speaking with an associate at the Anne Fontaine store at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, I found out what’s being worked on next door, a Microsoft Store.

She said that her store, Anne Fontaine, will be moving to a larger space on the corner (in blue in the above picture) and that the Microsoft Store will take up the HUGE space next door to them and their old space. So the whole area in Green will be the New Microsoft Store.

She thinks the New Microsoft Store will be open before the holidays since the construction crew for the Microsoft store is offering to help out the Anne Fontaine construction crew in anyway to get done quickly so they can rip into their old space. She mentioned their new space would be ready the beginning of November, so I would think middle to late November for the New Microsoft Store to be opening.

UPDATE: It's not set in stone but March 2011 looks to be when the South Coast Plaza Microsoft Store will open. Construction is on it's way and the Anne Fontaine store has relocated.
