Today Microsoft announced two new phones, KIN One and KIN Two, to drop sometime in May. The two New Windows Phones will be centered around social networking, mostly, whereas the Windows Phone 7, due out in the Fall, will be much more.
Something interesting we spotted 14 seconds into the KIN LOOP video was “XBOX” as one of the Feeds with the number (4) next to it. I presume this means 4 new messages. Could we finally be getting a phone that will communicate with Xbox Live friends with ease?
Messaging your Xbox Live friends from another device is something that has been missing from the whole Xbox Live experience (At least an easy way to receive messages when you are away from home). Currently in order to communicate with Xbox Live friends while away from your console can only be done by PC and some Smartphone's but without any type of push notification. This looks like you will be alerted when a new message is sent to you via Xbox Live.
